Information We Collect

Wandr may store gameplay and app state on your device, including scores, streaks, XP, levels, unlocked hints, discovered countries, recent drops, settings, and purchase entitlement state. This local data helps the app remember your progress and personalize gameplay.

Wandr also collects lightweight first-party analytics events, such as app sessions, onboarding completion, game starts, completed rounds, score ranges, rewarded ad usage, hint usage, map-pack selections, subscription screen activity, and purchase flow status. These events are used to understand app health, improve retention, balance gameplay, and diagnose launch issues.

Analytics events are associated with a random app install identifier, app version, build number, and event properties. We do not intentionally include your name, email address, precise device location, or exact guessed/answer coordinates in first-party analytics events.

Apple Services

Wandr uses Apple Maps and Apple Look Around to show street-level scenes and maps. Apple may process map-related requests according to Apple’s privacy practices.

Wandr uses Game Center for leaderboards, achievements, friend challenges, matchmaking, and multiplayer features. If you use Game Center, Apple may provide your Game Center identity and gameplay-related activity for those features.

Wandr uses StoreKit for subscriptions and lifetime purchases. Apple processes purchases, refunds, receipts, and payment information. Wandr does not receive your full payment card information.

Advertising

Free players may choose to watch rewarded ads for gameplay benefits such as hints, retries, streak protection, double XP, or route unlocks. Wandr uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform for rewarded ads and privacy consent where required.

Google may collect or receive device, advertising, and interaction data to serve, measure, and improve ads. Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can manage ad privacy choices through the in-app privacy options when available and through your device settings.

Location Data

Wandr does not require access to your precise device location to play. Gameplay locations are selected from Wandr’s location catalog and map imagery services. If a future feature asks for device location permission, the app will request permission first and explain why it is needed.

Remote Content

Wandr may download updated location catalogs or open street imagery metadata to expand playable maps. These requests may include standard network information such as IP address, device/browser headers, and request timestamps handled by the content provider.

How We Use Information

• To run the game, score rounds, save progress, and restore purchase access.
• To provide daily challenges, streaks, achievements, rankings, and multiplayer features.
• To show rewarded ads to free players who choose to watch them.
• To diagnose issues, improve gameplay balance, and expand location content.
• To comply with App Store, payment, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by Apple, Google AdMob, and infrastructure providers as needed to provide app functionality, purchases, ads, leaderboards, analytics, and hosting.

Children

Wandr is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Your Choices

• You can play without granting device location permission.
• You can choose whether to sign in to Game Center.
• You can manage ad personalization through in-app consent options where available and through iOS privacy settings.
• You can restore or manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
• You can delete the app to remove local gameplay data from your device.
